Yes you do! You will receive a site seal with any of the above SSL purchases to showcase that your website is secure and give buyers extra confidence when purchasing from you.
It can take as little as a few minutes to get your SSL Certificate issued, however, some SSL Certificates may require additional verification which can delay the issueing of your certificate.
The common name of the certificate cannot be changed without invalidating the certificate. To change the common name after the certificate has been issued you must generate a new Certificate Signing Request (CSR) specifying the correct common name. For this to be done you will be required to purchase a new certificate.
As the highest ‘class’ of SSL available, Extended Validation SSL Certificates (EV SSL) activate both the padlock and the green address bar in all major browsers. EV SSL Certificates provide the strongest encryption level available and enable the organization behind a website to present its own verified identity and build trust with their potential customers to assure them that they are making a purchase with a legitimate business.
Your SSL Certificate will be valid for the set amount of years you selected from the issued date. After which it will expire and you can renew by purchasing a new SSL Certificate at that time.
